Jewellery Organiser

It's been a little quiet around here lately, but I'm back today to let you know that I've found a solution to my jewellery storage! A while ago I sorted my jewellery and started the search for the ultimate solution.The criteria was:- it had to be pretty to look at but functional- simple to use and keep tidy- easy to see at a glance what I've got- a way to keep everything untangledFinally, after much thought and many Pinterest searches, I found the perfect solution. These square frames were leftover from a unfinished project from many years ago. The finishing touches are lacking in the frames as they were originally intended to be covered in fabric, but the odd coloured timber adds a kind of dimension and the staples add to the rustic charm. I simply screwed in some hooks evenly spaced along the inside of the top edge and hang my favourite necklaces on them creating a very practical and effective solution and as a bonus has provided some functional art to the blank wall.
